When I go to pull up a patient the get the list, it is in no apparent order and you have to read through all of them to obtain the patient you want.

I've searched the web but didn't find any information that's related to your inquiry, therefore I have to recommend checking the built-in Help section because since this is an application that requires additional knowledge versus the standard apps, you will find a lot of data in that section.
Alternatively, go to the installation directory and look for the readme files or user guides. They will be in PDF, CHM, TXT, HLP.
If you work in a company, contact the Administrator and ask for instructions for Progeny Imaging.
